All,

A few of us have organized a new group to help grow and promote vintage racing and racing history and the cars.

Here is what we are about:

Mission:

This organization is for the preservation of vintage racing cars, their history and to coordinate events across Oklahoma and Texas. We will not sanction competitive vintage racing events.

Who:

Anyone interested in forwarding on the mission of RRVO are welcome to become a member. No car is needed just a desire to preserve vintage oval racing cars and history.

Events:

Events can be either RRVO created or other vintage organizations (i.e. Oklahoma Racer's Reunion, Radius Nation, and Wichita Falls). RRVO will create a schedule coordinating across local organizations to creating new events to enable members to attend as many events as possible. The goal of any RRVO events will be to show the cars as well as have some on track time.

Where:

RRVO will work with organizations in both Oklahoma and Texas, but will concentrate on events in the corridor from Oklahoma City to Dallas-Fort Worth.

The founders of this organization are:

Dan Carlsen - Fort Worth, TX

Brian Satterwhite - Ardmore, OK

Tony Vick - Ada, OK

If you are interested in joining please send an email to: [email protected]

Thanks.

It's time and a long time it's been coming. But it's finally time to do it.

Love the cars you guys have up there and the intentions we have here should help you guys out as well.

Good people with good cars should equal good times, and we're looking forward to it.

Let me know what I can do at this part of Okla. Didn't mean to let anyone down at the Ardmore race. I had a Masonic obligation to take care of that saturday in Muskogee. Lets do this. Later Trammel

Thanks for making it to the Racers Reunion Banquet last week! Sounds like you have the right people with the right agenda leading.

See you guys in Wichita Falls in a couple weeks.
