Weather permitting we are headed back over to the National Open next week from Ohio after missing several years and I am stoked. Can anyone help me out with a few of refresher questions?
Can you bring your own beer in?
Does the front stretch grandstand general admission seats fill up completely on either Friday or Saturday nights?
Most improtantly how do I hook up with the beer hill gang?

Yes you can bring beer in. This will be the most crowded race at the Grove this year. Walk over to beer hill and ask for the comish, they are not shy.

The stands will be completely full on saturday for sure. They usually have a few seats available in the yellow reserved section(reserved only during WOO shows) as long as you don't need a whole bunch together or an aisle seat. Just go to the speedway office or else give them a call.

DEFINITELY call to get reserved seats. The general admission is only the bottom few rows. It's absolutely worth the extra few bucks for both nights. The higher up the better because of the haulers parked in the infield.
If the weather is good, it'll be a great weekend. They'll have 50+ cars both nights. My favorite weekend of the year by far.

You'll be able to get a seat pretty easily on Friday as the Grove seats about 8k and has room for a bunch more in the infield. Usually Saturday is packed to the gills and Friday is about 80-90% if the weather is good.
Best field other than Knoxville all year.
