I happened to catch the end of the truck race on Saturday from Iowa. Dave's son, Ryan, won the race in only his third start. He is also the youngest winner ever in the truck division. They interviewed Dave after the race and you could just see the excitement in his face and also "feel it" as he spoke.
During the victory lane photo shoots, Ryan had his parents beside him in all the pics. Sort of a touching moment..at least it was to me.
I wish the youngster well.
