Posters on Indiana Open Wheel are reporting that with a field of cars including Clauson, Larson, Darland, Windom, Shurenberg, and many others...
Sikeston, Mo.s Daron Clayton didn't hot lap, didn't run a heat race, started at the tail of the B and then ends up winning the A after starting from near the tail end there.
Unbelievable... man I hope someone has video
Has anyone EVER heard of something like this before? With a loaded field like this?
Yep, I'm kicking myself for not making the three hour haul

miledirtfan, Sounds like it was a great night of racing. If my memory serves me correctly--the final night (at Eldora Speedway) of the first Ohio Speedweek Steve Kinser had to start in the back of the "C" main, then the back of the "B" main and also in the back of the "A" main which he went on to win. Steve had to do that because there was a controversy as to whether he/Karl had timely submitted their pre-entry forms for that first "Ohio Speedway". Even though Steve won at least 3 of the week's features he still had to start in the back of the "C".

The Modern Day Cowboy is amazing!! I'd love to see that guy back in a winged car again. That's another good night for the Show-Me-State. M-I-Z....

Daron is just another car on the track with a wing. When the wing comes of,the excitement level of any race he shows up at goes up considerably!
And it was a hell of a race last night at Haubstadt! Took over the number one spot of all the races I have been to this year
