TK's win last Monday could have been the best last lap passes all year, but the quote in victory lane was just as spectacular " I won this shit " AMEN Brother AMEN. I agree this shit (WoO's) are way over blown, over priced, over hyped and I'm way over this shit. I agree TK!!!These prima donnas so called outlaws traveled to the Left Coast and for the most part got their arses kicked. It would not bother me one bit if WoO's disvolved any time soon. Move your tricked out high dollar equipment and your prima donna attitudes somewhere else cause you got your arses kicked out west. Move on.....can you say SPANKED!
I have been going to sprint car race for 25 years now and TJac's win at Skagit was probably one of the best local victories over the boys that I have ever seen in person, Congrats!!! Who knows were Larson will end up...the sky is the limit. Becker way to rock, Congrats!! JA you will get yours, keep diggin. TK...what can I say. Win or wear it. Congrats on a great year and being who
you are, take no prisoners.
Way to go Left Coast...how ya like us now???

..but YOU went to see the WOO didn't you? That's called the DRAWING POWER of the WOO!The point is that the WOO drivers are THE reason they draw so well and it the locals, like you and I, are hoping one of our local guys can beat them. Everybody has pretty much the same equipment and all the locals are getting better because they are competing against the best sprint car drivers.
My question is what will happen to the WOO when Steve and Sammy quit running full time? I don't think the WOO can survive long time without Steve or Sammy. What drivers will step up and become fan favorites or hated like Steve and Sammy? Schatz..no, Meyers..no, Joey...do, Dollansky...no, Kraig Kinser...no.

Anyone who thinks the sprint car world would be better without the WoO (or some group like them that pays like they do) is a complete idiot.

I agree with you on some things, Chippo. Some I don't. Overpriced tickets, yes. Better of without WoO, no. And as far as, "tricked out, high dollar equipment", Dennis Roth has all that and then some. Also, I bet you wouldn't be so excited if TK just won a KWS race, now would you?

Sprint car racing needs the WoO to be doing well for it to do well. The great thing about sprint car racing is that anyone can win on any given night, no matter what there budget is. I don't think any of the drivers that race full time with the WoO are "prima donnas" as you call them except for a few and those few are based on personal opinion. Whenever I go to the races Joey, Cody, Chad Kemenah, Craig Dollansky,Kraig Kinser, etc have always been easily accessable and nice to the fans before and after the show. Could the WoO be ran better, absolutely and I think everyone on here can agree to that. Some of the things they do aleinate some fans away from them but when it comes to racing on the west coast and midwest, 90% of the fans are interested in going.
I support the local guys and go to local shows here in Ohio where I am from and whenever the Outlaws are here or close to here I almost always try to attend them and cheer for the locals as that is what part of the draw of the show, the Us vs them mentality, and I don't think 30-35bucks is too much money for the program. Go to any other sporting event when you spend that just on food and drinks.

Do you feel better now? LOL You've just proven why the WoO is the best. Do you get this excited about all your weekly shows? Does TK get that excited every time he wins in CA? JA has won lots of races in CA. Why does he want to win a WoO race so bad? All those things tell us all we need to know about the WoO. Rant all you want, it's still the race most sprint car fans want to watch and most sprint car drivers, including your CA boys, want to win.

Sammy didn't race w/ the WoO for years, and they were okay. He's certainly a boost, and is great to have around, but they can be fine w/o him. Losing Steve Kinser will hurt a ton as he's synonymous with the Outlaws.
If Stewart and Kahne continue their involvement, those teams will continue to lead in crowd interest (at Antioch, there was a strong STP involvement which may be a sign of things to come for next year) from the people who only go once or twice a year which is key.
As long as you have the perception (which I believe is also the reality) that the Outlaws have the best sprint car drivers (not 1-12, but the top 5 or 6) that sells itself throughout the country.

I'd like to point out to all of the WoO fanboys that since the sport began being "legislated" from the top-down instead of from the bottom-up that the car counts and number of tracks that still remain have dwindled at an alarming rate. What you're left with is 3 or 4 hotspots in the country when it used to be a nation-wide sport. What we've been left with is a playground for millionaires and a desperate few that try to keep up with them. Sprint car racing needs a governing body that caters to the elite few like any of us needs a hole in their head.

Tk can be thankful that Allard messed up on the restart cause he was not going to win that one he actually would of ended up fourth.

101..between the yellow for Dollansky's spin out and Jonathan spinning the tires on the restart both TK and Schatz were lucky. I was so hoping Jonathan could get the win...not only for him...but for Morrie and Katie!

Agree 100%
And to those who say tickets are overpriced? This isn't 1979 and no you can't get in for a quarter. If there is one thing I cannot stand, it is those who bitch about the cost of an event that they paid to get into. It is called supply and demand folks. You went there, so obviously they got the price right! If you won't go because the price is 10 or 15 dollars too high, then I guess sit on the couch and watch Matlock re-runs.

Someone (chippo--name kind of says it all, cheapo), anywho, someone has got their panties bunched up. The WoO isn't going to disappear, they will be here long after I'm gone. The only thing that could harm the WoO (packed houses nearly everyplace they go) is the "Nut in Chief" in D.C. He'd like us all on bicycles and would like to see a country where absolutely no one had an incentive to get ahead on his or her own. He and his preacher don't like ambition, they don't like those that provide for themselves. He's going to have his EPA doing much much more harm to oil, coal and nuclear energy if re-elected because he won't have an electorate to worry about---the "screw them attitude, they can't vote for me again".
Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

When he appointed an energy sec'y who does not own a CAR & thinks we should all live in a little box apartment 2 blocks from work so we can pedal a bike to get there, I knew this would get worse.

The new era of sprint car racing is here and I hate to burst all the woo lovers, it,s not them! I go to see them get their ass kicked by a twenty year old !! That is the future of sprint car racing , not a bunch of old fat guys that barely fit into their driving suits. And they got their lunch handed to them time after.
So for you guys that just sit behind your puter screen and attend a "few shows a year", are out of touch with your hero worship and need to get out more, plain and simple.
The only true "outlaw" out there is Jason Sides of you ask me. But then again, who's asking?
Race on, get out more if you can. There is life without the woo-zeros, go find it.
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...
