Midgets and Late Models Headline The Western Classic at CSP!
Kevin Montgomery, PEORIA, Ariz. (September 6th, 2012) – While there is an already stout list of must see events scheduled for this fall at Canyon Speedway Park, it is likely the Western Classic will top the charts as the USAC National Midgets join the West Coast Late Model Shootout for a spectacular two day event November 9th and 10th.
The USAC National Midget races will be the first in Arizona since Brad Sweet’s victory at the 2010 Copper on Dirt and the first ever at Canyon Speedway Park marking the return of the National Midget Series on dirt in the West.
“We are happy to bring the Midgets to Canyon Speedway Park,” says USAC’s Jason McCord. We had some great Sprint races there last year and are looking forward again to the October races as well as the newly-announced November Midgets”.

USAC VS. ASCS “GRUDGE SERIES” FINALE SEPTEMBER 22ND AT CSP!
Lance Jennings Peoria, ARIZ – JULY 18, 2012 On September 22nd, the USAC West Coast and ASCS Canyon Sprint Cars will close out the “Grudge Series” at Peoria, Arizona’s Canyon Speedway Park. The $2,500-to-win, $300-to-start “Brawl For It All” will showcase many of the best non-winged drivers from Arizona and California as they battle for bragging rights and a $5,000 championship.
