For those of us that chose not to shell out $20 for a regular show.

Did they do any track prep prior to intermission this week?

On Facebook Huset's said "an hour later start is an hour less of a packed track having the beating sun dry it out. We're trying what we can to make this show as good as possible. We're sorry for the inconvenience but I'm here to see a good race, and I'm sure you are too."

Apparently when they decided to start at 5pm they were not aware that the sun wouldn't be going down till approx 8pm. Not a surprise at "The Home of the professionals."

Just to be clear I thought a 5pm start on Sept 9th was stupid from the get go.

Just curious. Some guy use to write a report about this track. I think he called it the "Big G" report..or something similar. What happened? I haven't seen it lately.

I noticed there wasn't a lot of big movers in the race. Was the track one lane and difficult to pass? Typically when TMac and Dobs start mid pack they gain a few more positions than where they finished last night.

Was "Todd Todd the insulation God" there??

I havent heard to much about him lately. Last I heard he was going to have his own weekly internet radio program "Insulating for Idiots" after getting a mention on the local racing scene radio program earlier this summer.

Amazing how popular you can become just by getting your name mentioned on Hoseheads message board.........

PS if anyone see's "Todd Todd the Insulation God" ask him if he remembers the Sonic in Knoxville, and "Carhops" ................
