Jace VDW running a wing tonight, not running with the USAC cars ...... Heat One xfers: Boesfleug, Bernal, Little, Ligget ...... Heat Two xfers: Bud K. from 3rd in the final corner, C. Gansen, Kirkbride, Niemela ...... Heat Three xfers: Dolacki, Rich VDW, Ennis, D. Gansen ...... Faria stared at the tail end of Heat Two, but did not xfer ...... A Main finish: Kaeding (overtaking Bernal in the final turn), Bernal, Carlile (from 15th), Hamblin, Ligget, C. Gansen, Ennis ...... Faria disappeared then reappeared during an early yellow and came thru to 5th, but then fell back ...... Neimela, Boesfleug and Kirkbride wrecked late while running 3rd, 4th and 5th ...... Kaeding also led the winged 360 sprint feature for all but the last two laps ...... Tarlton won that one, followed by Bud, Ronnie Day, Jace VanderWeerd and Craig Stidham ...... Good-sized (and good-looking) crowd (another beauty contest in the stands).
