Good job by the 2005 King of California and 2012 Chico track champion Sean Becker on your big WoO Gold Cup win. Two top 3's in qualifying and two top 5's in the mains. Good luck in the A tonight.

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Sean is pure class no matter what he's driving. The guy actually took the time to give me a couple pointers at Cycleland Speedway one day, on track during a hot lap session. That's the kind of stuff that makes The Shark one of the nicest guys on the planet.

Talked to him a few weeks ago about the Gold Cup and he wasn't sure if the 27 car would be
running because of the cost of buying Goodyears. Truely an example of a low dollar team beating
the big boys. He's always been a top level driver, no hype, no press releases, no twitter updates.
His emotional victory lane speech was great to see, no donuts, no wing dance, no pre thought out
celebration just real raw emotion. The only thing better would be a win on Saturday night.

It's awesome that the Shark won!
Sean might be the most under appreciated winged driver in California.
He has championships in every series he has ran in a sprint car if
memory serves correct. He has them in the Civil War 360 Series (won
twice), Golden State Challenge (now King of the West 410 series), Silver
Dollar Speedway and I think he has a Placerville Speedway title too.
Super, super nice guy too. I think he is one of the smoothest drivers I've ever watched.
CONGRATS TO THE SHARK!
Cheers!

Super happy for Sean, his wife Lisa and the #27 M&S racing engines team. What a win last night. No championship win for Sean at Placerville just yet but hopefully that will all change next year.

And he's a pretty good kickball player too. Congrats Sean on the very deserving win last night.

I wish Sean could get a ride with the King of the West Series again.

Times are tough and having cash is even tougher these days, not many 410 rides out there to be had. Sean has had a tough time sticking with the Civil War series as a result. He finally landed with the #35 M&M Structures (Stoga's car) car a few weeks back and has had some good results after the 2SB was parked earlier in the season.

This WoO win just might enhance his chances to get a ride for the series. Hope so.

Great runs by the Shark. Maybe Norcal needs a nickname like the Posse...?
