No, Kenny Jacobs has won all-star races(and others) in posse land. I don't think any all-star has won an all-star race at Williams Grove however. No surprise that the car that started on the pole won at Port Royal. That's pretty much the way it usually goes on the cookie cutter half-mile. Hopefully 50 laps tommorow night will bring about a lead change.

Yea that pretty much the way it has bee at Port since they quit handicapping. I still don't like it for the feature line-up. Plus I believe the rule for sprint cars, i.e tires, wings etc have also created this no passing way of racing now. Bring back open tire, dish in the wings etc. I go to the Port every week and I would be safe to say since the draw starts, 50% of the winners have come off the front row.

IT was the allstar format last night not Port's. One of the fastest cars of the night drew the front row for the dash so it was his to lose. 24 starters last night and 22 of them multi time 410 winners. No one was going to mess up and make passing easy. Example 30 nonstop laps and it still wasn't a runaway win. The 48 was the fastest car on the track coming from 8th to run down 2nd then it looked like those goodyears gave up on him and he dropped to fouth. The allstars had a good showing last night, good draw for time trial spots although the track stayed pretty consistent for the 46 cars. It was the first time an Allstar won an allstar race at Port. Until last night they had never won at Port or the Grove.

If the rain that's hitting the Western part of Pa. gets there you won't have to worry about racing tonight.
