Kyle won both main events last night .the 1st night of the gold cup. 1st was the USAC western classic 410 series non wing . Second was the civil war 360 winged series . Congrats Kyle . Tonight 1st night of WoO.
We need more sprint car racing at our home track.

and....Andy Forsberg ran second to him in BOTH races.
Ofcourse, we will now hear from the "boo birds" that the kid was just lucky last night. Go figure!

Don't forget that he only wins because he buys his rides from more deserving drivers like wfo21.

I did not see the race but, I'm sure we can come up with some reasons that the haters will be saying. Lets start with the typical ones and go to not so typical like, he either qualified up front and did not have to pass a lot of cars, or someone in front of him broke and if they didn't they would have won, or lap cars got in the way of second place, he jumped a restart, his engine was bigger than everyone elses, the race was on a Wednesday and that screwed up everyone else's schedule and since he is used to racing whenever he had an unfair advantage, he is on HGH, he is using traction control, the other racers were told to finish behind him so that future promoters can use him as an advertising tool.
Can anyone else think of some others?

NASCAR phoned the track and told them Larson was to win both features and in exchange they would give out Danica's cell phone number.

Kyle is most certainly not on HGH or steroids. I asked him if he was in the Victory Lane interview He said "look at me. I'm too small to be doing steroids, plus NASCAR tests for that stuff."
Forsberg was good as well. "I didn't have anything for him because he's too damn good. Get a good look at him because he won't be around for long because he will be racing Sundays."
Thought the track held together well and 3 and 4 were still racy towards the end. Looking forward to tonight.

I guess I should apologize to Kyle now since he will probably get "randomly" drug tested now because of that post.
Sorry Kyle for having Nascar waste your time by drug testing you over a random post. I just was stating some completely random ideas of what some people may try to say about you. Seems that many people around the nation are very jealous of a humble teenager who has yet to say a negative comment about his competition, and the have to critique every single race you win or lose. Seems like they come up with an excuse every single week as to why they think your overrated or why you lost the race. Once again, my apologies.

Nick, sad that so many people can't stand, and really suffer, at the success of another. Go figure. I can only attribute it to the "me first and only" age in which we live. So sad.

I'm expecting the beerbelly kart racing troll Will likely add to the ridiculist that his Rich parents bought him a ride in two magic race cars that anyone could win with.

I am so glad that I had the opportunity to see Kyle race at Knoxville, because I don't think he'll be in a sprint car a whole lot longer.
I've been watching sprint car drivers for almost 60 years, and IMHO this kid is the real deal.
Good luck Kyle!

Blundy, you and I have been around many years and this kid is the best, at his young age, of any I have seen. What a future he has. In spite of "his rich family buying him the best rides" as a few seem to think. Go figure!

It's better! Some of my Cali friends who came over for the USAC sprint race last year said it was some of the best racing they had seen all year, and trust me, they were all hard core CRA/USAC fans who love Perris. The Midgets are going to put on a great show there, no question about it. Of course then there's Turkey night at Perris on the 22nd this year.

It's the only time I can remember anything good coming out of a race track, Irwindale, closing. Truth is Leon, that's the only reason it's being run at Perris now.
