Called the race at 7:00 after making every body sit in the stands for a 1/2 hr in the very light mist then as soon as it stopped they called the race, Very dumb! Only 22 cars showed up very poor car count drivers must be getting to know huset's to well!

they canceled because no fans showed up. less than 500 in the stands at 6:45. temp was 61, looked like rain and windy. it drizzled for 20 minutes but not heavy enough to affect the track. never rained any more.

Possibily the future of Husets is looking dim right now. About 500 in the stands doesn't look good for racing in the Sioux Falls area. I remember many years ago when you had to be at the track an hour or hour/half to get a good seat. Not only at feature shows but regular weekly shows. Nice bull ring years ago. Haven't been there in the last 7-8 years. Long drive from Winnipeg (7 hours) to see 22 cars at a special....Sad...

Was not there tonight but Husets and racing the Sioux Falls area is alive and well. Outlaw show this year was standing room only. The Allstar show a few weeks ago had a decent crowd as well. I am not a fan of the Rubins either, but the couple shows I have been to this year have had good crowds.

Ticket prices and too many taxicabs ruined the potential for a crowd last night.

Now, don't you think the weather may have played a part in both fans and cars staying away? Long trip from Knoxville to Husets for teams when the weather forcast was real iffy.
Ah hell, let's just blame the Rubins and ASCoC. It's mindless, but it's easy.
To tell you the truth, I don't know why they just don't sell out and let all the know-it-alls run the track and series.

If neverhard ran the track, he'd be out of business in less than six weeks. Running only 410s would not cover your bills, hell, I'll even add the 360s. You'd go broke with just those two classes running. You still would not fill the place.

Hey spot,
Jackson ran sprints only a couple of weeks ago and the place was packed. I'm sure people not having to be tortured with endless stock cars and modifeid classes had nothing to do with the packed grandstands that night.

That was a special show, it brought in some pretty good names. You wouldn't have that with a weekly show every week. BTW, I was there, too. Oh yeah, did they jack up the admission price? You think you could do that for a weekly show?
