I thought I heard one of the announcers say the tie breaker was according to A-main finish. I'm really not sure myself, I think it used to be by qualifying time in the past.

I keep up on these points every year and from what I can tell, Dewease is 15th and McMahan is 16th - both with 453 and both locked into Saturday's A.

my calculations are the same...both are in with 453 points, just not sure about tie breaker....better qualifying time or better feature finish ????
