With all the negative posts about the crappy track at SMS, how about some compliments to the staff at the PAS, hot day, 30 cars and the main event was still slinging mud over the fence. I guess that's the differance between caring about the drivers and fans and not like so many posters here have indicated regarding the last SMS race. Maybe we need to post the good things we like about the different race tracks so the promoters know what is important to the fans. Or just have the promoters go to Perris and see how to do it right. Go Rippppper!

Hear, hear! I wasn't there but I heard that the track was really good. The PAS is a first class facility all the way. Keep up the good work. Smile

I will second that about PAS. The track was great, the racing was great and the beer was cold. Cudos to the Perris staff and the great drivers of CRA.

As a NorCal guy who loves non wing sprint cars, I say you folks are so lucky to have the PAS. I have some limitations that keep me from getting down there during the year, but I make sure to take in all 3 night of the Oval's because that facility and the CRA drivers are some of the best there are. I will be seeing you folks in November!

Love, Love, Love the PAS!

I am at Ventura most Saturdays. But when Ventura Raceway is dark and USAC/CRA Sprints are running at the PAS I can't wait to go. I love Everything about Perris Auto Speedway! The track food, the facilities, the announcer, the track, and of course the racing! Last Saturday night was no exception. Way to go Jones, Ripper and Argo. That was a great race.

Thanks to everyone involved in putting on the show. You do a great job!

To the lady in the pit concession stand - you are the best. Now that's how corn dogs & chili cheeses fries are supposed to taste. Not to mention the hamburgers, tacos etc.
Have I mentioned how much I love the PAS!

lol

Powerslide, You are right, I was one of the posters about the appalling track conditions at Santa Meria and Hanford. After 27 years of watching CRA/SCRA/CRA at both tracks it's difficult to ride  200 miles to two of the best Sprint Car tracks on the west coast and be greated by dry slick for hot laps. What a joy it was to get back to the PAS this last weekend. From the first car on the track for hot laps to the end of the Main Event the PAS puts on an AWESOME show. They even seem to be getting the show ran and us out of their at a decent time. Paris and Ventura always have the racing surface in great shape. They continue to work the track throughout the show. I think the promoters should drop by Ventura or the PAS and get schooled on how to run a Sprint Car race. JMO

Its nice to see people appreciate hard work and dedication. I arrived at the pit gate at noon and noticed Don K. was in the water truck instead of Ray. I understand Ray has an injury. Don himself was non stop for the next five hours and then off and on till the main. We appreciated that awesome track on a 95+ day with a breeze. Jim Cardey

Some of you will remember that a good surface at Perris is not guarenteed. It took a while and a lot of clay to find the right combination. It only happened because the track operators are fans also.
