I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Logan Schuchart gets rookie honors.

I would say Larson is the favorite, with Schuchart, Sebetto, Starks and McFadden as contenders.
Pretty stout class.

A given? Really? Based on what facts? His 2011 USAC Western Classic championship, or his 5 or 6 wins at Petaluma this season? I see a lot more wins than bent cars, unless you are talking about a different Geoff Ensign.

The fact that I've seen the guy race more than once, and more times than not his shit is balled up on the end of a wrecker. They don't call him the human lawn dart for nothin'....in regards to his championship....*YAWN*

I think Larson may have just wrapped the top spot, unless one of those other cats pull off a win Thursday night. And I've never even heard of this Ensign guy so I'll just let you boys argue it out
do it in the dirt

Really don't won't to argue about it, I just didn't want about a baseless attack to stand on it's own, when that post is probably the first that a lot of posters have heard of Geoff.

Geoff has turned one car over in two years, and in fact, is very easy on equipment.
If you are referring to the Watsonville steering deal vs. USAC this year, the heim joint casing popped out of the bearing at the spindle, which was the only problem with the car when he got to the pits. Curious to see where you saw him on the back of a wrecker balled up?
I'll help you out with the answer: It doesn't exist.
You might have some evidence after tonight's races. Hell, anyone can get upside down at any time, but to refer to stuff that has never happened as fact is just hating. Love the internet.

Not to mention Geoff Ensign is a true racers racer. He is likely to show up anywhere, winged, non winged, dirt or asphalt it makes no difference. Cool dude in my book. No reason for the hate from "chilidog".
Cheers!

Disclaimer: I'm pretty sure that Geoff DID in fact wad up his own number 5 at Calistoga in 2010, as the result of contact with another car. I was not there, but I remember that Geoff's wallet was severely tested by that incident. One hard wreck, that I missed and a bunch of wins I witnessed, as well as a strong 2nd against the USAC/CRA guys at Watsonville.

Detonated a motor tonight while on the white flag lap and in a transfer spot to the A in his first time in a 410 at the track while leading Brian Brown and Terry McCarl. Kid did alright.
