Knoxville added a special Dash race to the Capitani Classic today. According to article the dash will have no bearing on setting the line-up for the A feature, but rather will be a "race of states" sort. The quickest qualifier from each state or province will race. $1000 to win, $200 to start. Purse shows 12 starting spots. The start will be set by fan draw and giving the drawn starting position to a driver. Doesn't say how many laps. Doesn't say if it's only drivers who qualify for A feature from heats are eligible or if any driver who competes that night is eligible regardless of how they do in heats. Also doesn't say what they will do if more or less than 12 states or provinces are represented. If anyone can answer that would be great, but kudo's to Knoxville for adding what should be a great race to the card.
