Dingus to Osky “SAFE RIDE” Announced for FRC!
Knoxville, IA (8/1/12) by DarinShort.com. Front Row Challenge Enterprises and the Dingus
Lounge in Knoxville teamed up with Royalty Party Buses to offer race fans a “Safe Ride”
to/from the 17th Annual Musco Lighting Front Row Challenge (FRC) on
Monday, August 6th at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa.
The first bus is scheduled to leave Dingus Lounge at 3:30pm and a second
bus will leave as soon as it is full (approximately by 4pm). Then, both
buses will shuttle race fans directly to Southern Iowa Speedway for the
FRC.
There will also be a second round of bus service at approximately 4:30-5pm departing from Dingus Lounge to the FRC.
Immediately following the completion of racing events, the buses will
depart using the same format returning to Dingus Lounge; with a second
and final bus run approximately one hour after the races. So if you want
to leave after the race, you can; or if you’d prefer to stay for a
while after the races, the option is yours as well.
Round trip tickets are just $10/person. Tickets are only available at the bus upon your arrival on race day.

For this year it's Monday night only.
Certainly should be a fantastic solution for many fans...those camping, not wanting to have to deal with the Iowa State Troopers (whose venom you can see glistening on their teeth from a mile away), or those unfamiliar with the area and just want to let someone else do the driving.

Shame on the Troopers for wanting to keep the drunks off of the road

I only made that comment because I got pulled over for going 58 in a 55 about 3 miles north of the track and it seemed like I was being interrogated - and that was while I lived in Iowa...LOL. Then when he found out I wasn't drinking he tried to ticket me for window tint, but it passed too.
Anyway, safe travels to all as they enjoy Sprintweek!
