I went to my first race at Jacksonville Speedway in 1964, and have been going ever since. Last night took the cake. Dont get me wrong the racing was great, but getting over at 12:30 when hot laps are to begin at 6:15. I guess it would not of been bad but they ran out of food at 9 or so. I think Butch needs to come back and run the show. I will always go back, but lets be alittle more friendly to the fans. I think I know one driver that won't be back Paul May, and I cant really blame him. He did jump the first one but the second one was not that bad. JMO. MOWA I hope you keep sprint car racing in cental IL. But lets just speed the program up.

Just One Fans Opinion.

Wasn't there but it couldn't be as long of break as they took in Donnelson it was between 45 minutes to an hour.

Since Farmington was closed this weekend it seemed like a good time to make our first ever trip to Jacksonville. I gave the food and time little thought. What I did notice was some excellant racing which is what we made the long drive for. Great race we'll be back. Pevely next week for WOO then off to Knoxville. Side note there was some folks sitting next to us from Austrila. Already in the area for Knoxville.

Jimmy's car was for sure junk. They were running 3rd and 4th on the back straight. They were behind some of the infield stuff. You could see him flipping high above that stuff but I couldn't see their wheels prior to the flips well enough to say what happened.

at jacksonville friday night and from what i saw bridgeman was on high side and brown on low side coming out of two, they got together going down backstretch. brown didnt seem to cut bridgeman off, just looked like brown got loose and the two got together. not the only ones getting together on backstretch friday night, as any video will show. as far as the slide job brown put on robbie in one and two, brown leaned on robbie and robbie backed out. not like he did a bonsi and took robbie out. ive been going to watch jacksonville's regulars run for years and seen many do the same slide job brown did. just my opinion.
