It will be tough to get cars and fans. Too many taxicab classes and $25 ticket prices will hurt.
Still love husets

All Stars have about 8-10 drivers on the tour. Most of the rest will be Husets and Jackson Drivers. Should have about 25 cars

I didn't see Tim Kaeding listed in the WoO qualifying in Canada for last nights race, so he might be headed to Knoxville early and Huset's could be on his schedule. I believe he has won with the All Stars there before.

Too many support classes and too many $'s both factored into my decision to stay home Sunday night.

3 classes of sprints, no door bangers and $20 admission at Jackson last night

That's my kind of deal.

I agree with Kooks. That is a good deal. From what I can see 5 All Stars running for points. Maybe get Sides stop in or Stevie Smith. I read Kyle Larson at Knoxville. It would be great to see him race here. My guess 25 cars too.

And, for the most part, the show sucked. And I'm learning why a lot of people don't like sprint cars. It's not the actual racing or the cars, it's the elitist attitude of people like you and neverhard......nothing but pure dickheads. Your attitude that if it isn't a sprint car it's not a racecar and you can't have anything but sprint cars at races I go to make you nothing but dickheads. Bitch every time about a night of racing that has something other than sprint cars racing and reading on this stupid board gets to be old. By the way kooks, figure in the $5 fee to get into the Jackson County Fair and it was $25 to get in and you're happy. I think it's $25 for Huset's and you're bitching that it's too much. What's the difference??????

What I see as the BIG DIFFERENCE is the Allstars race for less than half of the total purse the Outlaws race for and I'm sure the sanction fee is a hell of alot lower also. Heck they barely have 5 regulars running the Allstars . Outlaw Show $35 vs Allstars $25. You do the math and I think alot of fans are tired of filling the Rubins wallet. Allstars have never brought a big crowd to Husets yet.

Where did you get charged $5 to get on the fair grounds?

I walked in through a pair of half open cattle gates without paying, I thought it was $5 to park on the fairgrounds, not get in. Parking out on the street was free.

The difference between $25 (in your case) at Jackson and $25 at Huset's is the back gate promoting that I'd get to sit through at Huset's.

Honestly, I really don't care how many support classes any track has. I'm there to watch sprint cars and I want to be home at a decent time.

If any track can have 4 or 5 support classes, a decent field of 360's or 410's without gouging me at the gate and get done by 10:30pm I'll happily attend.

I don't like watching 3-4 support classes take till 11pm and wear the track out then I finally get to see what I'm there for. I'm not paying $25 for that.

The racing last night at Jackson wasn't great but it wasn't terrible either. I've seen much worse after being subjected to hours of support classes and the show not ending til after midnight.

The car count was decent and at least as good as I'd expect at Huset's.

I was told it was $5 to get in period. You caught a break there then. And, you didn't mind a show advertised as hot laps at 6:30 PM not getting over until 11 PM? And, the track was about wore out before they even started. I heard the PA announcer say Lasoski was running faster laps in the dash than the fastest time trial lap.

The only sign I saw said $5 for parking, never saw or read anything about admission to the fair. If there was they need to do a better job closing gates, it appeared that it was just set shut to keep vehicles out.

Did they charge you $5/person for everyone in the vehicle?

I didn't look at my phone but I'm nearly certain that they were done before 11pm. The 410's were pushed off at about 10:20pm, I did look at my phone then. I don't think they took 40 mins.

The track conditions did leave a lot to be desired. After reworking the track it was pretty good til about midway through the A.

Keep in mind this started as being Jackson vs Husets. The worst track prep and races I've ever seen was at a Huset's WoO show. The rubber being laid from the top to the bottom of the track looked like a toilet flushing in slow motion.

Track conditions and the racing at Huset's can be really good but when its bad, its god awful.

I am not a Husets booster on this forum by any means, although I do like the racing there, but I will guess they have more 410's Sunday night then what Jackson had Friday. I will guess 27-28.

Husets obviously runs on Sunday nights - everybody has to work the next day. Husets does everything they can to keep you there buying rot gut food and beer. Nobody cares for the taxicabs. But its sad we have to stay all night for the 410s.
Still love husets

Why do people like everhard run down all the other class's that are not sprint cars, yes i like watching sprints the best but when you go out to huset's the mods and stock cars put on one hell of a show, How would people like it to go out the the races pay $25.00 to get in and just watch what shows up for sprint cars and have it all be over in a hour, I know if that was the case i wouldn't go pay that much for 1 hour of fun, Some of them guys who race stock cars can't afford a sprint car but that dont mean the souldn't be able to race they have just as much right to come do it as any body! Sorry if i should like i'm bitching but i just get sick of people running every body down thats not racing a sprint car!

If only I lived within 100 miles of Knoxville I'd be there a lot.

A 5 hr drive with $3.40 gas makes it too long & expensive of a trip to do very often though.

Huset's was a great show last night car count was good racing was good and best of all dobmeier kicked ass, just really sucks that he had bad luck there at the end of the race! For those who were not there on sunday night dobmeier got by lasoski as they raced through lap cars then led up to the last lap where his righ rear went flat he was able to get into the pits to get a new tire then made it back out on the track to start at the tail of the field, with two laps to go he raced by a few car then got hit and pushed up into the wall as his night was over!
