Hi Everyone, I was over getting parts for the Sprint at So Cal & Steve & I started talking/joking about the difference in the new Generations of Racers. What seems common Knowledge/history to some, is totally foreign to these young "whippersnappers". Alot of the pics on their shop walls are eye opening. Do these youngsters even know that Steve Howard was a record setter back at the Ascot 1/2 mile before the '80's ? The Howard Family has been supporting Sprint Cars for over 30 years, providing a local shop to get Parts & Fuels for the Race Cars. We need to remember to support our local vendors who have been there for us all these years. If you're catalog shopping for parts, give Steve a call to see if he can match/beat that price. You can avoid the Shipping costs, & he can also bring your parts to the races for you, if needed. Remember, he even brings his mobile shop to the track. Think about it. Don't take it for granted. He even has a box of free stickers for you.

See everyone Saturday, & be sure to bring friends out to the new track up the Hill on August 19th. The Cajon Pass is a short jump up the hill to my High Desert, with EASY access to the track straight off the Roy Rogers Exit.

Cal

Using Irwindale as a starting point, it is only five miles further to get the track in the high desert than it is to get to the PAS and you don't have to mess with the traffic mess of highway 60 through Riverside.
