Just read a tweet from Robby Wolfgang that he is done racing so he can pursue his college degree. Good luck to Robby. Must have been a tough decision but a very mature one.

Good luck to Robby. A college degree is forever and can open many doors for the balance of his life. Think about this--Robby armed with his Mech. Eng. degree and the knowledge he gained while earning it combined with the racing experience he previously earned along with his father's knowledge & experience--and then envision what the future "Wolfweld" chassis might look like and how it will perform. Good luck to Robby and the whole the Wolfgang family!!!! Hope to see them at the Knoxville Nationals.

i think he made a very smart decision. he was a pretty good driver just dont think he had quite what it takes to make a living out of it (possibly just a lack of experience), but still hope he runs a car localy!!
Lets go k-ville locals.... show um how its done

Good move young man. You made a tough decision but the rewards will make it worthwhile. With you and your dad, who knows what could be in store for the Wolfgangs in racing. Best of luck and study hard....

That degree is probably gonna make him more money than racing sprint cars ever would. Best of luck to the young man. At his age, education should be priority #1. You can always come back to racing sprints for a hobby as time and money allows.

It's bittersweet I'm sure.
But, one can never go wrong with college. Good luck in your travels Robby!

Is Jeff Swindell in the 7K for the Nationals? He's just been added as an entry, was wondering if this was the same car.
