What happened to the beloved posse? Wow, to only get 3 locals in the top 10 and only 5 in the top 15 doesnt show much for the locals now does it? It's a good thing a couple WoO regulars had to use provisionals so you could at least get a couple more locals in also. How many in a row is that now for the BEST drivers in the world at the Grove, not to mention the Morgan cup? Hell, right now I'd say the Huset's drivers are currently ranked higher than the posse as at least they defended their turf.

One word to discribe last nights race....ATTRITION!! Other than Steve Kinser the majority of positions gained were via attrition. Madsen got the hard charger but passed maybe 4 or 5 cars on the track. Most other positions were 'gained' via others misfortunes. One more outlaw( in addition to TK and Bill Rose..who had mechanical problems of his own) would have watched the A main from the trailer had Monteith's engine (attrition) not blown while running second in the B. Shatz couldn't even win the C from the pole. One should not draw conclusions by merely looking at final results. Fans in attendance have a much better understanding of how the race went down.

Where is BRR and cubic to follow up on this huge story? Apparently they are still investigating the entire situation, as there HAS to be some sort of set-up against the locals to yield such results.

Posse cars that flipped / wrecked /got drivien into the wall were ALL moving forward in the top half of e field...then as Hodnett was due to line up in the second row on the double file restart...the rules were changed...single file only due to "track conditions". Guess it was too fast and too dangerous for the type of blocking we were witnessing...
Launched another Sammy shirt last night...and once again, posse experience won the race in a brand new GF1.
Lincoln 1845 ft/.35 mile T1=118MPH
Eldora 2287 ft/.43mile T3=135MPH
Port 2716 ft/.51 mile T3=TBD
Grove 2792 ft/.53 mile T3=135MPH
Selinsgrove 2847 ft/.54 mile T1=136MPH

Posse cars that flipped......
So what you are saying is the only reason they got beat is because they crashed themselves out?
OK, we'll go with that.

Rahmer, Dewease, Pittman and Dietrich combined for around17 laps. Those are the Posse's big 4, plus Hodnett obviously.
Of course we don't promote positivity on this board as the Posse sent 2 guys to NY with the WoO and came home with a 2nd and a 4th.
Side note, BILLY Dietrich won in Western PA tonight.
Good run for Cody last night, he looked good.

The "big 4" started 16th, 20th, 13th and 15th respectively. Had they finished, it might have changed the make up of the top 10, but certainly not the winner. Outlaws now 5 of 6 and 6 of last 9 including the last 2 summer nats and natty opens.
