Notes:
Jesse Drost jumped out to the early lead and built up a huge advantage over other front row starter Jeremy Dronen. Nygaard, who started in 10th, quickly worked his way through the traffic, moving into the runner-up position by lap 6. Drost had a good straight away lead for Nygaard to overcome. As Drost hit lap traffic, the caution came out for the 14 of John Nelson when his motor blew, making his first trip down this season from Blaine.
Once the track was cleared and the cars realigned, Drost led the field down the backstretch in preparation for a restart and pulled in, heading directly to his pit. This gave the lead to Nygaard, followed by Dronen, Van Wyhe, Vogelaar, Boles, Runge, Lusk, Heser, Ballenger, and Weise.
On the restart, havoc broke out on the front stretch as Dronen has issues. I don't know if he had a motor stumble, or just hit the cone and slowed, but either way, Second running Dronen hit the cone and the field bunched and scattered behind him as he moved down the front. In the may lay, Lusk got tagged from behind and got the worst of it as he tipped over. Not the finish he wanted after his strong run the week before.
The result of the contact with cars at the restart sent VanWyhe, Dronen, Weise, and Runge to the work area, and Lusk to his pit. The restart was Nygaard, Vogelaar, Boles, Ballenger, Heser, VanWyhe, Runge, Weise, and Dronen.
Nygaard got a good start, and Boles got a run on Vogelaar in the first set of turns, but was not able to pull off the pass. The final few laps clicked off cleanly with Nygaard taking his second feature win of the season. Vogelaar backed up his strong run Tuesday at Hartford with a second, and Boles rounded out the top three. Ballenger came home fourth in his first night at the track this season, VanWyhe got around Heser for fifth on the 19th lap. Heser, Runge, Dronen, and Weise complete the list of finishers.

Limited Sprints (11 cars)
This was an open show for the limited cars so 4 barrels and injection were allowed this week, allowing for a couple Midwest 305 drivers to compete.
Feature (15 laps)
1- 3d Ryan Voss (1)
2- 11s Shadrach Sporaa (2)
3- 98 Steve Yarns (3)
4- 22s Doug Bratrud (6)
5- 11a Bruce Anderson (7)
6- 70 Mike Bloomstrom (5)
7- 4E Jeff Edgington (9)
8- 14k Scott Knutson (10)
DNF 20 Casey Fredrichsen (11)
DNF 1g Jeff Metli (4)
DNF 1n Nate Eakin (8)
Notes: The original start seemed to be good, but turns three and four were not nice to the Eakin machine, as he jumped the cushion and got into the wall, flipping over. That put an end to his night, and set up a complete restart.
Voss and Sporaa started on the front row and from the drop of the green, they began pulling away from the field. Yarns got a good restart and settled into second place. As the laps clicked off, Voss and 11s built up over ½ track lead over Yarns who was busy holding off challenges from Bratrud and Anderson. The feature ran without caution, allowing Voss to lap up to the 7th place running car.
