Worley Grabs Midwest All Stars Loot at Benton, MO.

 

Tommy Worley picked up his first O’Reilly Midwest All Star Series win Friday night at Auto Tire & Parts Race Park. Worley captured his third winged sprint car feature overall at the track this season, working his way from the seventh starting position in the thirty lap race. Joey Montgomery chased Worley to the finish, with tenth-starting Jason Keith taking third, Rob Crabtree fourth and current series point leader Jerrod Hull grabbing fifth. Tim Montgomery was sixth, followed by Todd Rowland, Tyler Thompson, Tommy Shepard and Jimmy Hurley completing the top ten.

 

The win paid Worley $2,000 and moved him into the top ten in Midwest All Star Series points. Jerrod Hull maintains a fifty-one point advantage over Tim Montgomery in the championship point standing

 

Heat races were won by Jim Brewer, Keith and Jeremy Standridge. Hull won the B Main. Twenty-one cars were present, bringing the season total to fifty different drivers and teams participating in three series events this season.

Track was horrible and the tech guys did one bad job,Tim Montgomery was robbed at a chance to win.
