FT. WORTH, TX (7/17/12) by DarinShort.com. The September 14-15 Port-A-Cool® U.S. National Dirt Track Championship (USNDTC) at Texas Motor Speedway's
Dirt Track is a very unique event. So, it is only fitting that each
event winner receive a special trophy to commemorate their
accomplishment.
The event trophies have just been completed, please click www.darinshort.com/dtctrophy.html to check them out. Each
championship division winner (Sprint Car, Modified and Limited
Modified) will receive a trophy specific for their race division. The
trophies are on display between now and race weekend at Smiley's Racing in Mesquite, TX.
After
a several year absence, this year's USNDTC features a highly
anticipated return of the Winged Sprint Cars to the ultra fast 4/10 mile
speed plant. The Sprint Cars will be racing on Saturday September 15th
under the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Car Dirt Series banner.
The high
powered Modifieds and always exciting Limited Modifieds will feature a
complete racing program on Friday, September 14th; which will set up
their Qualifying & Championship events on Saturday, September 15th.
The Modifieds will be gunning for a winners check of $3,000 and the
event pays a stout $750 just to start. The Limited Modified feature
winner will take home $2,000 to win and it pays $400 to start. There
will be two provisional starters added to each feature from teams that
preregister on or before August 31st. Click the link below to get your
team registered.
In addition, each Championship feature winner will receive a very 'cool' bonus from Port-A-Cool: a Port-A-Cool Cyclone 3000™
- which is valued at $849 each! This centrifugal air delivery system
provides 700 square feet of temperature cooling, in a portable and small
footprint design. Texas Based Port-A-Cool is thrilled to be involved
with this event and offers practical and affordable products that all
racers, and race fans, can use to stay cool!
For complete event information, or to get your team registered, please click www.darinshort.com/dtc.html
and remember, if you are a Modified or Limited Modified team, make sure
to be eligible for the provisional starter drawings by entering on or
before August 31.
Don't miss out on this wild weekend of racing when the Port-A-Cool U.S. National Dirt Track Championship (USNDTC) hits the high speed 4/10 mile at Texas Motor Speedway's Dirt Track on September 14-15th!

Online
race week pricing will be available through next Monday, September
10th. Online registration, 2-day pit pass sales & practice night

Need to give some discounted tickets to school kids and the high schools to get them in the stands and get the word out for this event.

There actually are a couple of ticket giveaway promos going on right now.
One is at the pre-race car show on Sept 15. For more info, please click:

What I'm suggesting is go give out 200 tickets to some high school/ elementary school kids. They will bring a friend or need someone to get them there and will spend money at concessions. But maybe concessions $$$ and the race promoter are 2 different entities. Will be an awesome show. Hope to see a full grandstand. Can't wait to head south for some good Texas BBQ and Sprint car racing.
