The "DUDE" didnt fare to well in the Zemco ride during Pa Speedweeks. Maybe he needs to take his crew chief with him the next time.

Maybe he should switch back to his XXX chassis. 7 wins in an XXX, 1 in a WolfWeld ... and goose egg in everything else.

Danny made the A every night and finished 9th in speedweek points and did not race the first night. He timed well every night and when the car stayed in one piece he had good finishes in the A.
How did Leppo do during speedweeks? Just sayin...

I agree that he did run well and time well when the car was working. Just saying that maybe his wrench should be there to be more consistent. A WIN would have been GREAT!!

6 races and he's outa there. You'd make a tough car owner.

No I'd give them more than 6 races. I just think it's comical as hell that people are blaming the equipment and crewchief because the dude didn't win his first week out. The car/team is a good one. Stevie, Leppo, Shepard, Mark Smith and anyone else who ever drove it had success. Hafertepe was getting faster each time out too. Perhaps there's nothing wrong with the car and the sport isn't easy and it's even tougher when you travel to tracks you don't have a lot of experience with and race against a lot of tough competition most of whom has a lot of experience on these tracks. Lasoski is one of the best in the biz and he'll be fine once the team gels, if he sticks around that long.
Leppo had 1 ride in the car and he won against a stellar field yet he was outta there, talk about tough. LOL

There's no doubt that IN is the mecca when it comes to wingless sprints. I wouldn't expect a winged driver to go there and do well right away, just like I would be shocked if a wingless driver came east and spanked the posse. The chasis of a winged and wingless car are not even the same anymore(wingless being wider). That's why very few of the locals take the wing off to compete when USAC comes east nowadays. Mark Smith enjoyed his visit last month. Maybe he'll come back.

I agree with HoldenCaulfield you have to give him more than 6 races to get use to the team and the many different tracks. It's not going to be like cherry picking every weekend at Knoxville and Husets in South Dakota. Just my thoughts.
