They ran a couple of races in Ohio last week. Logan said they may come back and run the Doty at Lima on Wednesday. If you don't have a Twitter account you may want to consider setting one up, it is a great way to follow drivers and crew members.

Yep. Think he was in Ohio for at least part of speedweek last week and has on twitter that they are going to be running the kings royal and maybe lernersville on the way back home.

Logan ran the speedweek shows that I couldn't make it to. I don't do twitter atleast for now. Will be going to Limaland as I live on the other side of town & a salesman gets my tickets (pit passes) for me. Will not be going to the Royal although some of the names that are going to be there did get me fired up but I have stated why I'm not to happy with Eldora.

I think they would travel more in they had some$$$$$$$, or some motors/parts!!!! They say nobody dose more with less about Jason Sides!!! This maybe true, but I would think it is more of the case with the Shark team rather the Sides team!!!!

While we are on this subject I would like to know what is a low budget what amount is a high dollar team. what are some of the actual budgets needed such as motors,frames,wings,rear ends, tires is there anyone out there that can put some numbers together for all of us to understand what really is needed to make a race team

They probably just don't have the $$$ to travel. I know how most just constantly harp on the fact that the PA guys dont "leave the porch" Its MONEY! There are several PA shoes that are more than capable of winning (or being very competetive) outside the box but they don't want to risk the money to takes to travel and compete.
The Larson kid couldn't even finish out the week here and Danny was less than stellar in one of the best available rides in PA. This IS the sprint car capital of the WORLD!

This. So many people on these forums will never understand just how good 410 sprint car racing is in PA. The future NAPCAR star had to leave the state early and will probably never come back for dirt racing.

Hear is some of what you are asking for
410 motor's $40,000.00---$50,000.00 for everything new, $5,000.00--- $10,000.00 to freashen one
Basic frame kit from J & J is about $6,500.00 frame, body, torsion bars arms stops, radus rods.
Complete front axle hub to hub is about $1,000.00 depending on what you get,
Complete rear fro winters is about $2,200.00, I hear that the axles should be replaced every 10--15 races.
Wings top $600.00--$700.00, front $150.00---$250.00
wheels $200.00--$450.00
Tires $150-- $250.00 each
Alcohol $1.50---43.00 a gallon
Desiel for the gauler $3.75 gallon, Pit passes $20---$40.00 per nigth per man
Just alittle of what I found on the net.
I heard from a crew guy working on one of the top teams that the owner spent $650,000.00---$800,000.00 to race last year to race 130 times last year

so if the numbers you have provided that would mean a car would have to make at least $5000 to $6100.00 to break even let alone pay the driver a % and a crew. that would be a gross amount of $144000.00 spent on a given night with 24 cars some big dollars moving around the economy

i know logan only has one engine which he hurt at one of the speedweek shows (broken lifters) got it repaired and then broke a valve at the grove and said on twitter they dont know if they will make it to ohio. they were planning on running the doty classic and kings royal ....its up in the air at this point

I know at the beginning of the year Logan had talked about going to the 360 Knoxville Nationals and the regular Knoxville Nationals.
