What did Lance DeWease say right at the end of the video?
|
Didn't catch it, but did anyone notice Tyler heading back out of his pit behind all the commotion? If you watch closely you can see him heading out by himself up next to the trailer toward the end of the tape, and no one seemed to have noticed.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.

Good thing no one taped Jack Hewitt punching Joey Saldana while Joey was strapped in his car & then jumping up & down like a chevy push rod on Joeys nose wing at KC or Kevin Huntley punching Rick Nichols at the payoff window at K&L raceway.

From what I read on paposseracing.com, tyler hit the cone on the restart, so they penalized him. Tyler thought he was forced down into the cone by Brent Marks, so Tyler ran over the cone and destroyed it, and they black flagged him, and thus Tyler got upset.
|
Then why was he screaming obsenities at Chad Layton?
Layton's car was wrecked, Walker's wasn't.

I just think it is sad to see just how much of a loser Tyler has become. He could probably care less that practically everybody sees him for what he truly is. I am sure that would different if he truly had to race for a living. Too think I use to be one of his biggest fans.

Walker had every right to be pissed but not take the actions he took. I never was a walker fan as to his drug addiction and how he drives, but coming back I thought maybe he would be different, and whoever said he wasnt doing shit on the track he started 18 in the b main and was up to 7 with like 10 to go, and was in a transfer spot in the heat but a crew member didnt tighten the lug nuts on the right rear. So that dont sound too bad to me.

There are so many things wrong with this thread that I am gonna give you an inside perspective, like it or not. I was there, was pitside, and was an eyewitness to much of the whole deal.
First off, here is this gem above. He had a good post going, but blew it with his assumption that the lug nuts were not tightened.
Here goes ( and expect more perspective once I sort through this whole mess of a thread):
Wrong on your “ASSumption” about the lug nuts. The axel broke at the inside point where the spacers are, and you have slandered a crew member with your grandstand “ASSumption.” I was in the pits and looked at the wheel and broken axel personally, and was not watching from the grandstands. While you had a good post going, you blew it when you thought you knew what you we talking about. We are talking about situations that can be life or death here when we talk about crew members “not” perfoming their dutied correctly. Wish I could follow you around at your job, make up shit about how you didn’t do things correctly, and post it on a message board for all the world to see and “ASSume” that the information is correct. AGAIN READ THIS SLOWLY IF IT DID NOT SINK IN THE FIRST TIME: The axel broke inside of the spacers, inside of the wheel. The lug nuts were tightened. The spacers were actually still on the axel at the point where it broke. Get it right or don‘t post what YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.

Where did you see him screaming at Chad Layton? Layton had nothing to do with what went on. It's Just the Video Starts with Chads broken car coming back to the Pit's. Then cuts to the Tyler Walker deal that all.

Thanks Slink, maybe between a few of us that actually know what the hell went on, we can weed through the misinformation that abounds throughout this thread; I would guess that 90 to 95 % of it contains bogus info.
As for the female security guard who instigated 99% of the ruckus in the pits, very informed sources have let me know that SHE IS NO LONGER EMPLOYED in her "femiNAZI" position as a so-called security guard. Good riddance, and Lance Dewease, Moon Byers, and other highly respected folks who belong in the pits can be heard saying in the video something to the effect that “she needs to go” so that to me indicated that the 35 team is not the only group who have been the object of “EXERT HER AUTHORITY”.
Sucker punching someone, especially someone as big as Jonesy (who is a big 275 POUNDER and bad biker from the old school WHO RUNS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL Harley Shop, Jonesy’s Custom Cycle in Central PA) from the 35 crew, is never a good idea, whether female, male, or whatever. She was told politely as possible by Jonesy, “we are going, please just let Tyler change his uniform” and they will be gone, and warned as politely as possible in the heat of the moment that she had no business being in the 35 pit area. Still they all remained wanting to argue and escalating the whole deal, until the dumb bitch threw a sucker punch at Jonesy? What the hell has she thinking, and what did she expect to happen from that act of agreesion on her part and the part of the security guard team? As I understand it, only track "officials", and NOT TRACK SECURITY are permitted in team’s pit areas. There is a difference between Security and track officials. The track official with the headsets and ponytail was there in the middle of it all, trying to keep things from getting out of control, and he was the coolest head that prevailed after Jonesy was attacked with a sucker punch by the dumb ass female security guard , as best he could to get things under control. To him I say, GIVE HIM A RAISE WMS GROVE! He proved he could do what he was hired to do.
Part Two will follow in my next post!

Now for the “Cone” incident and the repeated false postings. Nose to tail, Tyler was on the Sammons 747 for a qualifying position. Coming out of four on the restart, the 747 of Sammons ran out of uel directly in front of “on the hammer” Walker who had charged from 18th starting spot in the B Main to put himself in position to make the A Main. When 4th place transfer Sammons ran outta fuel and all but stopped in front of Walker as they charged to the cone, Walker swerved left to avoid what would have been a very ugly incident, and actually passed the start finish and the cone on the wrong side of the cone. He never hit the cone on the restart. It was a heads up and brilliant move by Walker to avoid an ugly front stretch crash, and a safety move at that. That is what he was upset and arguing about. He should have been given his spot back, no ifs ands, or buts about it.
When informed he would have to restart at the tail, that is when Walker showed his displeasure on track, speeding ahead of the field to kill the cone. RIP cone number one. Bless Bruce Ellis’s comment, I guess we now go to the back-up cone. Walker then parked pit side at his pit, and marched to the front stretch break in the wall voicing his displeasure. The kid raced his guts out, and racers on the track, still in the B Main, were making room for him to regain where he was at, agreeing basically that it was a bullcrap call by race control.
Granted, Walker was over the line with his antics, but he did catch the attention of many, but most “fans” were outta control with their nasty ass comments, mostly personal stuff about Tyler’s off track past, who did not understand his frustration with the race control decision. While at the break in the pit wall, more than one security guard laid hands on Walker, and the video shows at least three physically grabbing him. In the heat of the moment, that is the very last thing they should have done, and only escalated his frustration and anger.
While headed back to his pit, he was followed and proceeded by what seemed to be 4 or 5 security guards, and as explained earlier, the presence of un-needed security in the pit area only escalated after heavy handed security exerted un-needed and uncalled for physical confrontation, all started by the female security guard, that turned what could have been a simple discussion into an all out brawl.
Out of courtesy of the Grove management, one very high ranking official admitted “they screwed up” with the Walker call, and “will work in the future” to make sure it will not happen again. They also said that the female guard will no longer be working at the Williams Grove races. GREAT MOVE WILLIAMS GROVE MANAGEMENT, but you gotta wonder how much the video taken of the incident played in their decision?
As Janet Holbrook, a very respected car owner who has promoted many seasons at Attica in addition to fielding a Knoxville Nationals and 3 Time All Star Circuit of Champions point winning team stated above, no two tracks seem to be able to get together and run fair, consistent rules and guidelines for procedures, and in this day and age of equalizing competition by policing the cars, why, oh why can’t rules be standardized so that teams and car owners, who risk life, limb, and personal fortune FOR OUR ENTERTAINMENT get together and have a very standard set of procedures and rules that make it fair for all, and in turn make it better racing for all of us to enjoy?
One more misconception that I just read on PAPosseracing from a twitter post, someone posted that he talked with the "Tech Guy" at Williams Grove last night who told him that Tyler walker had been fired from the Sorokach 35. NOTHING COULD BE FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH! Walker will pilot the 35 at Port Royal Saturday evening, and I look for him to be "elbows up" as he always is lap after lap after lap. Charlie and Dawn have stated that Tyler Walker is their driver, and they will be in competition at the Port Royal Speedway Saturday evening as part of Pa Speed Week 2012, in addition to the series finale at Selinsgrove Sunday evening.
End of rant, and I hope I have cleared up many of the postings on this thread that had no idea what happened for real! If you have "SOLID: and TRUE INFORMATION and FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE, PLEASE SHARE IT HERE AND LETS TOGETHER PUT AN END TO THE MISINFORMATION THAT OVERTOOK THIS SITUATION AND WAS BLOWN OUT OF PROPORTION BY UNTRUTHS AND NOTHING BUT SHEER HATRED!

The list of reasons why I don't attend races at Williams Grove Speedway aka "The Lesbian Rodeo" grows on a weekly basis.
I wonder if track management will issue a public apology for their error and poor handling of the situation?

I was the one who posted he hit the cone, but I also posted that I was getting my information from paposseracing.com (twitter posts), but the penalty is the same for hitting the cone or going under it. However, in that post I tried to be unbiased and never tried to belittle Walker. I was just responding to the people asking what happened and to the one who said they were reserving judgement until they heard what happened. I made a mistake when I said it was Marks who Tyler was avoiding, but corrected myself later when someone correctly stated it was the 747. On the twitter posts all I read was Tyler thought he was forced under the cone, and didn't know the 747 ran out of fuel and he was avoiding a wreck, but I also purposely stated I was getting my info from paposseracing.com, thus making it clear I was not at the race myself.

I am appalled by this. As an auto racing videographer who has been at this for nearly 30 years, I just have to tell Bobby Johnson of "PAPosseracing.com" that you should be ashamed of yourself. Congratulations on dragging the video medium in Sprint Car racing down to the same kind of disgusting "ambulance chasing", paparazzi-style circus that the rest of the world lives in. I am disgusted by this. The sport is in enough trouble without people like you making us all look bad. Shame on you.
This may not be popular, but for the good of our beloved sport, can't we have some decorum?
