I see on the IRA website that they have no race scheduled for this weekend. I would assume this would bring a pretty good car count to Beaver Dam for the WOO show Saturday night. I have never been there to see a race. What kind of count do they usually have there? I know the IRA's generally have a good turnout for one of their shows.

What are there, 10 full time WoO guys. Then you have Balog, Kertcher, and Reinke. Knoxville is racing so you'll have none of them. Yeah, you'll probably have 35 cars with maybe 13-15 good ones. Could actually be a good show because there will be alot of slow cars out there jamming things up for opportunities or crashes.

I heard some gossip on here that Kertscher was fed up, either taking a break, or just done racing? who knows. last year reinke got screwed by WoO (I believe it had to do with the officials changing the schedule of the B main, not giving him a chance to do some repairs & have an opportunity to transfer up through the B), & I wouldn't be at all surprised if he takes the week off. really a shame, as I would like to see as many IRA guys run as possible. especially those 2!

Not really, in recent years IRA drivers have parked for the night because the track conditions, pill draw and overall attitude has been stacked against them. Most of the IRA guys can't afford the extra night. If you have 25, in my opinion it will be a good night. I would expect 22 cars and bring a thick wallet. BD would sell their mothers to make a buck.

Maybe some IRA guys will come to Knoxville. Reinke and Balog have been there before this season and did well.

Maybe they should make a class for the back markers only so that this guy can watch the 10 top cars race for the gold. He may be alone there in the stands with no one else willing to see a race night with a total of 10 cars, but this fellow would be really pleased! He seems to mention the fact that there are only 6 or 8 good sprint car drivers around any longer and the rest are schlubs an awful lot.

I live close and if you can make it rain I will drive to knoxville. There has been no decent rain for over a month in the area. And it has been in the 100's the last few days. Many 4th fireworks shows around canceled due to tinder box conditions. The racing at beaver dam can be great on a nice tacky track but we likely will have a dusty dry slick. My guess 24 cars

Yeah Jim. I am sure you have read this 'Jerkoff's' posts. He is a troll that just likes to hear himself bitch. Probably never has been to a track in his life. He probably tried driving once, but his legs were to short to reach the pedals, and he is pissed at the establishment. Some of his stuff is actually funny though, but it is hard to tell when he is serious.

How many 410's do you predict at Knoxville? 360's and 305's running too? If so, how many? Extra 1 1/2 hour drive for me compared to Beaver Dam, but you are peaking my interest a little.

Go to Benvenutos to eat! Anyway, Brian Brown will be there. Appears Tim Schaffer and Stevie Smith as well. How about Blaney, Wilson and McMahan?
Brian Brown came last year and put on a hell of a show as he charged from the back to about 6th.

I would say probably about 30+ 410's with about 25+ in the 360's and the 305's arent not racing at Knoxville tonight, also they have moved the start time to 7:45 for hot laps with racing to follow.

Seems like a pretty good turnout! Great weather too. Anyone have a solid car count? Haven't heard yet.
