I don't know for sure why he was a no show, but I do know that he has been waiting for a fresh rebuilt engine to replace a tired one with too many shows on it. Lately, it's obvious that he's been down on horsepower.

Hey, thanks for response. Hope to see him soon back racing. That was one of the considerations with the big increase in number of races. You get to race more for more dollars......but of course that means more upkeep on motors and everything else mechanical.

Per IBRACN:
One rumor that I hear was that it has more to do with the fact that he and his crew all have full time jobs. The team members can't get away for the month long trip up north and out west and that is why the decision was made to drop off of the tour. If true, sorry to see Danny decide to leave the tour while sitting 8th in points.

I did talk with Gary Wright at Cameron and he said the same thing as above. Jobs and money.

When I talked to Danny about a week ago he indicated that they were going to make the Missouri show and the next two up North and then decide if they would continue on the tour. But that doesen't appear to be the case now. To bad, when work interferes with fun. With the way the series pays now, if your not consistently in the top 5, your not even making expenses. I've also heard that GW isn't going out west either and I wouldn't be surprised if a couple more drop off. That will only leave 5 or 6 regulars. I wonder, if you are setting 8th 9th or 10th in points and you don't show up does the tow money go to the next team in the standings? Or do they have to wait until those drop out of those positions? Just asking?

good question. My guess would be no. If you're paying tow money to the top however many (10/15?) - if they don't show I doubt it goes to the driver that showed up and is one spot outside of that in points. But I could be wrong. Be cool if I was wrong.
