Wifey and I were able to visit the track two weeks ago for the first time, really enjoyed it. It's a fun race track. Watsonville is a long way from Phoenix but I would love to visit again, any road trippers out there should go enjoy the facility if you have not already. I think us AZ people were easiliy recgonized, we were the ones in stocking caps and ski jackets when everyone else was in shorts and tee shirts... Good times. It was almost worth the trip just to get 7 avocadoes for a buck

Everything without a wing is not a "USAC 410 sprint car" althought everything without a wing is a REAL sprint car ! !

USAC Western Classic Sprints = 360s and Restricted 410s. Likely to also have a few Spec Sprints at Watsonville.

How many cars you think will be there Friday?
20 sprints and 8 midgets
16 American stocks and 20 4bangers
?
Last show had 20 and it was good racing all the way through.

I like your handle. I got to see Peter Revson win at Silverstone in '73. James Hunt burned out way too young.
