Has Mike Peters ever been nominated for induction into the Hall of Fame? Just curious, I noticed that he has had some wins and good finishes lately and has been active since the 70's. A long career with a lot of success and deserving of this Honor.

I don't know about the nomination, but I was lucky enough to see him run in a 2 barrell race in Ada a couple of weeks ago. He still drives the heck outta his car. He gave Passmore, the OCRS top dog the last couple of years a really good race. Took the lead for several laps then ended up

second. I agree he deserves a shot!

Mike has driven for some of the best teams in racing and has won major races with them all, among numerous championships. I am sure he will someday be inducted into the hall of fame. When he is...it will be well deserved. Nance

Absolutely he should be there and a driver who influenced many but I never saw run was Larry Bible,he ran an offset rear and Vern Nance told a bunch of the Pa. boys about it once at the grove and it started a long time of phone calls to Nance and Larry until most of us were trying it too,it worked darn good, and thank you Vern and Larry, the Legends live on in the HoF.Thanks to one and all.
