Just think how many they could have had with a decent purse.
I don't aim to please.
I aim to hit the target.

Middle of the week shows are not gonna have as many people because alot of the 360 drivers work for a living plus they may not have enough vacation or what vacation they do have maybe uses for Knoxville

There were as many cars at Lawton as there typically are for a World of Outlaws race so what's the problem?

I understand their midweek purse was decreased down to 3k to win and 300 to start. That is not that shabby, and to only have 21 and 20 cars for 2 of the nights, that seems rough. It is unfortunate but I thought the ASCS motor rule, while not perfect, was keeping the cost of motors around the 30k range with a rebuild after 20 nights. Are the tire costs super high?

How many local/regional race teams are around those 2 tracks to help support the show?

I thought ASCS ran Hoosiers?
Jason Johnson had a USED 360 fore sale on his website for $30,000.

ASCS does run Hoosier. The price of the Hoosier, Medium is comparable to the Goodyear. Just under $200.
As far as the Jason Johnson motor goes, $30,000 for a used motor seems a little pricy but not out of line compared to others, I assume it comes with the injection for that price. Just to have something to compare to, I can tell you that the price of a new ASCS 360 Roush/Yates Ford (if your into that kinda thing) is about $37,000, ready to race.

please tell me where we can buy a Hoosier ASCS Med RR tire for less then $200.
We are paying $242 (assumed to be tax in which equates to around $223 before tax), and the same tire direct from HTW is $214 + shipping.

Last year 188.00 for a right rear Hoosier , a little discount if you are on their deal.
A new Fisher cost about 40k this is from a very reliable source.
ASCS national shows pay 3000.00 to win 300.00 to start on a one day show or first day of a two day show
Second day pays 4000.00 to win 400.00 to start 2000.00 for second , mid week purse is the same.
Manyof their shows pay start money for 8th or 9th on back

With the abundance of rubber down tracks, you better finish well to pay your tire bill, fuel both to the track and at the track, upkeep, pit passes,......the list goes on.

jalopy93...can you clarify for me a little, I am confused. You said mid week purse is same as second day, 4000 win, 400 start. How do you decide what a one day/midweek will pay? Do you have the total break down from 1st to 20th (or so)

So the $213.95 listed on their website is incorrect?
