24 race cars (minus one scratch) ..... FT: Rich VanderWeerd at 14.950 ..... Heat One: Roa, Spencer, Showtime, Rich V., Ercse (in a 360, and he was 3rd fast time). ..... Heat Two: Cody Williams, Matarich #14 (sp? couldn't hear well enough), Kruser, Golobic, Jace V. ..... Heat Three: Bernal, Austin Williams, J. Swanson, Faria, Faas, Mitchell ..... Rip Williams lead the first half of heat one but was flagged when one of his mufflers fell off. ..... A Main start order: Showtime, Faas, Spencer, Austin, Golobic, Ercse, Kruser, Rich V., Mitchell, Wilson, Jace, Faria made up the first 12. ..... Track condition was rough & tumble and nowhere much to go up high, as well as the still very narrow front straightaway, so the race turned out to be a parade, save for Bernal's charge from way back. ..... A Main finish order: Austin Williams, Showtime, Spencer, Faas, Golobic, Bernal, Faria, Kruseman, Rich VanderWeerd were the first nine. ..... Austin came quickly to the front after Faas, and then Sheridan, had led briefly. Austin took off like a gun shot on the only restart. Danny was very smooth, but couldn't catch him. Spencer and Faas slugged it out for third. ..... Very good crowd. Mercifully (to me, anyway) no wheelie contest.
