Instead of bitching about it Jeff why don't you support the track and make an appreance. Wait I forgot your to good to goto Brill's and you think Devils Bowl is crap.

If you have a problem with the way Mark runs his heats you can always call him and express your displeasure. Heck you could even go by his shop he is always there. But, I think you would much rather bitch about it on here than call him up. He is not that scary I promise you.

Holy crap dude. Sorry if I have stepped on your toes. I will try to be more positive.

Revised post: Dang it! Sucks I wasn't able to attend friday nights races at Brills. Was really looking forward to getting out to a track. Also, was excited to possibly see a 3 car heat race for the first time, I bet it is exciting!

I remember at the first of this season I posted how cool I thought it was that Creek County was changing their weekly program and that I thought I would be attending there a lot this year, and some of you guys still bashed me because you didn't see the point of driving all the way up there when Brill's was so much closer and would have the same amount of sprinters. Creek is closer to where I live than Meeker and I was showing enthusiasm for A LOCAL TRACK but got ripped on for it.

It's cool that you all just love Meeker to death and think it is the place to race now but it just doesn't work well for me to get out there on a Friday night. I have been there a couple times and I like it there. I guess I was just trying to say that it sucks to only have enough cars show up to where you have to put 3 and 4 in a heat race. I know Mark is trying and is doing a good job or you guys wouldn't go on and on about the place.

As for negative posts, I think the other one was about Devils Bowl and it concerned driver and fan safety. If that is just a bitch or complain in your eyes then you need your head examined. I have always said I loved Devil's Bowl because I am a fan of big half mile tracks. Just on my last visit I opened my eyes to other things and tried to think how I would run a business (dirt track) and I saw a few things that I thought needed attention. Is it my place to say those things? Maybe not, but as a paying fan I feel the need to sometimes give feedback.

I am not too good for anything or anywhere so that was kind of a shitty thing to say Erich. I WILL try to make it to Meeker as soon as I can and have a beer with you guys. Again, sorry for being so negative sometimes. I will try to post more positive things.

We all have the right to say what we want when we want, so it's all good, car counts are down at alot of tracks this year, even heard that Lanny said it was getting bad, so we can only do what we can if it is 6 cars or 20 cars.

While at Devil's Bowl Friday night a buddy said the race shouldn't be more laps than there are number of cars in the field (only 5 in the stock feature). I agreed that a 15 or 20 lap race with 5 cars was gruelling to watch, but as I pointed out to him, these guys worked on their cars all week, showed up and paid their entries and bought pit passes, let them do their thing. We all watched as enthusiastically as we could and all was well. I just hope things can turn around and maybe get the car counts up for all classes.
