EMMR is a nice place to spend a few hours. For non-racing you can check out Gettysburg or spend a day at Hershey Park.

If you are going to Lincoln, Gettysburg is an obvious choice for something to do during the day -- 20 minutes away from the track.

You can go to the Hagerstown Speedway and meet "Cooter" from the Dukes of Hazzard, and he's bringing the General Lee...
Cooter=Fun!

Get to Scruffy's go-kart track just up the road from Lincoln and put a few laps in. Introduce yourself to him, tell him what you do and get a few stories, you'll love it....

You white people! Saturday night at the fabulous Port Royal Speedway. PRO STOCKS! That's right...........turn'em loose Bruce. Oh yea, also on the card is USAC sprint cars, ARDC midgets and EMMR/CENTRAL PENN RACING reunion night (large number of restored race cars and memorabilia) ..........if anybody cares! Imagine, a full field of Pro Stocks at the Port..............Wow! I'll be there early to get a seat in the infield...................E-Mods.

Don't waste the gas money going to Port...Break out your Daisy Dukes, go to Hagerstown, and get your Cooter on...

First off, I'm leaving my "Daisy Dukes" at home this weekend; not sure the world is quite ready for that.
The EMMR sounds great and I'll probably hit that. My daughters and I did Gettysburg about two years ago; but it may be interesting to go back and take a look around on my timeline.
Go-Kart tracks are tough for us big-guys....not as tough as "Daisy Dukes"....but tough none-the-less.
And, there certainly will be Yeungling and Middleswarth chips as part of the festivities.
