I just hope the points race remains close and tight just like the races the past few weeks. I always leave Knoxville pleased (especially when the races are getting over around 9:35 or 9:40).

I believe all forms of racing cost a fair amount of money, especially sprint cars. I don't think you can even run a 305 at Knoxville as an entry level any more like it was intended on. I think the post was refering to the fact that T-Mac is not running a world of outlaws type sponsored car and wiping the floor with everyone at knoxville & Husets, but working hard running his own team.

Who cares? Apparently YOU do! Why did you take the time to post on the topic if it wasn't even worth your time!!! Miserable bastard. Keep it up T-Mac, MOST of us appreciate your efforts!

While he may be "wiping the floor" at Huset's I don't think he's won a race yet at K-ville.
I'd hardly call leading the points at Knoxville without winning a race wiping the floor. He's simply been the most consistent car that has not missed a race.
If you take a look at the cars that have not missed a race at each respective track and compare their budgets to Tmac's budget I think you'd see that he's hardly "low budget" in comparison.
He can certainly wheel a car around Huset's but short of a bad decision in lapped traffic the 25 had the 24 beat last night.

Is that the best you've got joker .... I'm guessing his other 86 wins at Husets and 60 something at Knoxville were somehow a fluke ... what team & car are you driving for ... GOOOOOOOOOO TMAC

So are you going to refute anything I said or not?
His 86? wins (I thought his wife said a bigger number last night) at Huset's are impressive even though most of them have been with pretty well funded rides comparative to most of the competition.
His 51 wins at Knoxville are more impressive when looking at the quality of the competition.
By the way another "low budget" team picked up #97 Sat night. According to their website he's also got 40 wins at Huset's.
My math says that's 137 for each but I'm guessing Tmac would trade his 137 wins for the other 137.

Walk to the bathroom, take a look in the mirror and talk to yourself because your the only one that gives a crap about the b---s--t you going on with. There's very few with a better record than McCarl. I couldn't care if he had the biggest sugar Daddy on the planet. I've seen 100 before him do way less with a lot more. At the end of the day McCarls has been getting it done for 15 + years

Obviously you care.
For several years he had the biggest sugar daddy in 410 sprint car racing.
He's also been racing for a lot longer than 15 yrs. More like 25.

Before I say anything, I'm going to say I respect Terry as one hell of a sprint car driver and one hell of a promoter.
With that being said, "I've seen 100 before him do way less with a lot more". Now that comment right there is quite interesting. How many Outlaw wins did the Big Game car have while Terry was the pilot? How about since Sammy has been behind the wheel? That car went from a zero to hero extremely quickly.
Oh, and while we are at it, who won the Knoxville points title on an extremeley low budget last year and would be leading the points this year by quite a bit if he hadn't missed two nights?
I know some may worship him but Mr. Flower Pot Thrower is far from king.

He couldn't even make an A-main this year in FL and according to MSPN, that's the proving ground. LOL The Big game cars sure have slowed down since he left, oh wait, no they haven't. He's good but he's not one of the all-time greats or anything. Keep it real people.

From what I've read and heard over the past several years, few drivers care as deeply about the future and present of sprint car racing as does McCarl. Good job Tmac or is it TMac, either way, keep up the good job, race haard and promote a few more races at tracks that rarely have sprint cars.
Lawlessness + liberalism = HELL - NYC, Detroit, Chicago,
Seattle, LA Who the H runs those cities.

Other than the Nationals, Florida are the toughest shows of the year and the whole country knows this except for a few fools who live in PA. I was always amazed in my travels how so many Posse fans knew their own drivers and so little about the rest of the country, a great example of ignorance is bliss. This forum does have a few of the Posse faithful that know an awful lot about 360's, the CA scene and the non-wing action in Indiana as well but they are few and far between.....

Brian Brown would be DOMINATING the points except he has missed 2 shows @ Knoxville as well. Even so, he is only 16 points out of the lead to someone that has been there every week.
Davey Heskin isn't a big $$ team either, take away their bad luck 2 weeks ago when he broke while leading, he'd probably be the point leader instead of TMAC.
Lots of good stories in the weekly points this year IMO. Bunton has been impressive as well, most improved on hte track that I have seen in the 410 class (Robby Wolfgang has been improved as well).

Brown has only missed one night on May 5th. Still impressive to be sitting in his position while missing a night. I have also been impressed with Selvage this year.

Remind me to NEVER express my approval for any driver on this board! Sheeez it's brutal in here!
You don't have to love the guy but how can you be a hater on McCarl??? The whole McCarl family are great for Sprint Car racing.

I don't see anything I'd call "hate" for McCarl or his family. I appreciate everything he and his family do for sprint car racing.
Frankly, the sport needs more Tmac's.
Some of us just prefer to keep things realistic.

I will never understand where the McCarl venom always comes from. The guy has given his life for sprint car racing. He's a great man and father does tons of things under the radar for people and has managed to forge out a hall of fame career living in Iowa. He's stayed true to his roots and has risked life and limb to put on a show. He gave big game many good years and always speaks highly of them. I'm very proud to say terry McCarl is my racing hero.
More weight, more regulation, more similarity in the
cars.... that will ensure plenty of thrills for years
to come. Only the most average talent behind the
wheel will be needed with such awesome equipment on
the track!

Terry is much the same as the Posse big three of Hodnett, Rahmer and Dewease except that he's won a TON more on the road where it matters most in my opinion. A Posse fan for the most part will never figure this out....
