It was a decent race even though there was a low carcount(18 each night). I guess Marysville and Chico stole all the cars with 45 or so each night. Why did so many drivers avoid Calistoga this weekend?

i have to say, the tack was the nicest ive seen it in years... Tires were not a factor so much as in years past.... Saturdays track was perfect.... the mud scrappin going on after mud packin reminded me of years past.... great track, even down the straightaways

Really? Saturday night Mother Nature built the track and TK came from the back to thrill the crowd with a last lap pass for the win. Sunday night it was up to the regular crew who supplied a mud hole for wheel packing, that got dry during the heat races and ate tires in a feature that was won from the front row. Maybe Calistoga should schedule more races during the rainy season?
