Does anyone know if Central Arizona Raceway in Casa Grande is operating. With the closing of Tucson International Raceway for regular programs, CAR is now the closest racing venue to Tucson. Also, if it is operating, does anyone know what sort of accommodations, if any, there are for handicapped people? I use an electric mobility scooter to get around as I'm an amputee. TIR was great as it was possible to watch the races from the hill right off the fourth turn.

What I heard at Arizona Speedway last Saturday night was that the deal fell through, and nothing is going on at the track at this time. Now I haven't confirmed this, but I heard it from more than one person, and both should know if it's true or not.. I thought it was a done deal at one time, but after hearing nothing at all about it for some time the reasons that were told to me about why it wasn't opening struck true.
Half the lies they tell about me aren't true.
