California Sprint Car & Midget Power Poll for May 15, 2012
ELK GROVE, CALIFORNIA (May 15, 2012) -With the third edition of the
California Sprint Car & Midget Power Poll hitting the streets, we
have ourselves a new leader atop the charts.
Between a combination
of Tim Kaeding's big flip in King of the West Friday night and Bud
Kaeding scoring a pair of second place finishes over the weekend in
USAC, Bud was able to overtake his brother in the overall rankings.
Hollister's Ryan
Bernal has maintained third position despite finishing deep in the field
in Friday's USAC show and skipping Saturday's event to attend his high
school prom.
Most notably on the
poll is Elk Grove's Kyle Larson. You would never know that Larson is in
his rookie season running NASCAR back east judged by his nine California
open-wheel starts. The highlight was Larson going 3-of-4 last weekend
in Tulare.
