They ran,

It was a good show with 32 cars shooting for the A. The B was like a mini-A with Sexton and BK having to run it for a change. 17B won.... Again..... Drivers are starting to wonder in the pits after they find no grip and he sails past. Then again he does have Swindell's traction control on his car.

I tell it like I see it.

I thought the racing was pretty good with 32 cars showing up including a few MOWA guys. Heats were not the best as the majority just played huggy pole around the tires but the racing widened out for the B and A main. The A main had quite a few battles for the lead and Jordan Goldesbury looked real good leading the first half of the race. Gotta wonder if you took out several yellows there might have been a different winner as it seemed each yellow Balog was able to get by a few on the restarts. Late race restarts between Balog and Kertscher had some great battles back and forth and good to see the young Goldesbury get a podium. Believe IRA A main was done by around 10:30 and right after the checkered a rain shower arrive so it was good timing.

On to Beaver Dam Raceway on Saturday for another short track showdown.

Who is this aimed at???????? This is the first time that I asked about the races, and that was after I went to the website for both Wilmot and IRA. Sorry, does it offend you that people are discussing a Sprint car show on a Sprint car forum? If you don't like it, rather than being a bonehead about it why don't you just go past it? No one asked you personally anyway!

Thanks, I didn't see that post there when I asked the question. They were just a bit late in posting results. Didn't have it on Wilmot or IRA sites either. But I see that it was up there late Sunday evening.

Are you related to that other moron/troublemaker, Strangewings? What if a guy was a follower of the IRA, and happens to live across the country? Are you gonna say the same thing to him? Sprinter79, you are DEAD ON about this being about Sprint cars, and it is ON a Sprint Car forum. Wow, must be kind of hard for some morons to figure that out. Must be a NASCAR fan.......

I personally thought the show was a good one. Heats were a dud though. Single file low line racing. Top groove never opened up. When the B Main came around, Top groove was starting to come in. And a mini-A is an understatement. When you got Scotty Neitzel, Tommy Sexton, BK Brian Kristan, Bill Warren, and Scott Uttech among others in there, its going to be tough! A Main was a good one. The first half Jordan Goldsberry was checked out. Balog just made it up to second once the first caution came out. With the 80k in third you knew it would be good. Goldsberry was off to a fast start, as the 17B and 80k were slicing a dicing, giving each other sliders. After another caution, you could tell that Balog was done messing around and just took control. When he got it, there was no looking back. Congrats to the whole 17B team on their second of what I think will be many wins on the year.

From everything that I have read, it sounds like it was a hell of a show. Maybe a bit off during the heats, but a much better show in the features. Thanks.
