For those of you who remember the good old days of the big-bore backyard bombs at Riverside, Pomona, Paramount Ranch, Torrey Pines, etc.

I was fortunate that I got a ride in a 427 Cobra once. We were just putting around like the guys in the video. But you could tell that it was a bit like hanging on to brute. Way back in 1968 I had the privilege to deliver a Shelby GT350 to a dealer in Denver from a dealer in Colorado Springs. It too seemed like a car that needed to be respected, just like a real cobra.
