SUPR “LoneStar Memorial 50” Saturday May 26 at LSS
Kilgore TX (5/11/12) by DarinShort.com. The first of four scheduled SUPR
Late Model Series events will hit the high banks of LoneStar Speedway
(LSS) in Kilgore Texas with the running of the “LoneStar Memorial 50” on
Saturday, May 26th.
A large field of drivers can be expected from throughout the region,
including current SUPR point’s leader Allen Tippen, Rob Litton, Robbie
Starnes, BJ Robinson, Derek Perkins, Jim Bryant, Zack McMillan, Timothy
Culp, Chris Wall, Jeff Chandler – and many, many more.
In addition to the SUPR Late Model Series, a complete program of
Modified (paying $1,000 to win), Limited Modified ($500 to win) and
Factory Stocks ($300 to win) will compete. Their purse and rules are
located at the track website.
Track owners Sam & Lisa Hafertepe have continued their mission of
keeping racing events at LoneStar Speedway as ‘family-friendly pricing’
as possible by holding adult race tickets to just $15.
Here are some quick facts for the event:
-Pits open at 4pm, Grandstands open at 5pm, Hot Laps at 7pm, with Racing to follow
-General Admission just $15 (ages 12 and older; tickets available at the gate on race day only)
-Kids (ages 6-11) just $5
-Ages 5 and under admitted free with adult admission
-Military or Senior’s (Ages 65+) General Admission $13
-Upgrade any ticket to the Reserved Section (bucket seats) for $5 per person
-If you purchase tickets with MasterCard or Visa, there is a $1/ticket processing fee.
-All Pit Passes $30
-No outside food/drink coolers are allowed inside, a full selection of
economically priced food concessions, including beer, are available.

RACE WEEK UPDATE - as of TUESDAY A.M.:
'Green Flag' racing conditions are forecast for this Saturday night's
"LoneStar Memorial 50" at LoneStar Speedway, featuring the first 2012
visit of the SUPR Late Model series.
Right now the forecast is showing clear skies, temps in the upper 80's
and a light breeze out of the south can be expected at 7pm.
Joining the SUPR Late Models will be the three LSS points divisions,
paying $1,000 to win for the Modifieds, $500 to win Limited Modifieds
and $300 to win Factory Stocks.
