In what has been the favorite race of the season so far, Dennis Moore Jr. defeated Jimmy Gustin in an 8 lap race on the quarter mile hi banks.
DMJ was to be placed a lap down on the start of the 8 lap match race, but chose instead to be 2 laps down.
On lap 6, the IMCA Modified driver spun on his own while fighting to keep from being over taken for the second time by the Gifford 17G car.
On the restart, DMJ put a slide job on young Gustin that sucked the paint off of the car.
When the race was over, Gustin said "this is the most fun I have ever had in a race car"
Not a soul left the standing room only grand stands before this post feature race took place.
The full front straight away wheelies lap after lap impressed the entire crowd.
