After two complete races at Knoxville a couple of things come to mind regarding the drivers.
Improved drivers most do not think about...
Rob Kubli - looks to be smoother than than year
Nate Mosher - I'm stunned by the improvement vs 2 years ago and taking last year off.
Carson McCarl - Everyone at Knoxville obviously knows this name but surprised he's doing so well this early.
Bronson Maeschen - Seems to be doing well so far...I would have guessed he would of had an feature win by now but based upon 2 nights doing well.
I'm a little surprised that we are not having higher 305 car counts but I believe some tracks around the area are running the same night.
Great season so far.

Some good observations there. I was thinking the same thing about Kubli. And Carson is the real deal. So is Austin, hopefully he can come up with a engine soon to get back to Knoxville weekly.
Maeschen didn't get a time in at WoO show and scratched. He timed 2nd and was 10th in the feature this week. I think highly of Bronson, but not sure why you would think he would have a feature win by now when we're only one week into the regular season. Lasoski, McCarl, Zomer... they haven't even won yet. LOL

I should have been more specific...a feature win at Knoxville in a 410, not necessarily this year.
I honestly would have guessed he would have won a couple of years ago with how fast he is in time trials. He seems to be improving but with a different ride this year, hopefully he can figure things out.

Bronson is one of the best timers at knoxville, but when you put other cars out there he just loses speed...not sure what the deal is but i would like to see him get a W this year.

Oh yes, forgot to note that the two IRA guys, Bill and Mike had a nice showing.
Was also surprised that Dustin Selvage held strong in the two spot with Danny, Terry, Mike, Bill, Davey and Dusty following.
Dustin looks very promising in the 410 class.

My surprze thus far doesnt come from a Knox weekely show but rather the heat race with the WoO, observed : driver, Trey Starks (sp?) , he simply handed it to them, "this is Knoxville? this is WoO?, he cant do that , he just did who is this guy?" WoO has very brutal competitors and are the best in the world , ( I know I know)... I root for the Knox regulars on WoO nights and Nationals, but, what a great heat race win for Trey ,something worth raising eyebrows about.. has he run Knox before?
