Mark put on a great show But OCRS needs to get their act together. I have been around racing for over 50 years and this was the most messed up show I have ever seen.

How do you put a car on the back for being late when none of the cars were running let alone making laps?

The after going to the back makes his way all the way to second and does not receive the hard charger award. I heard that they said because he ( Joe Wood JR) was supposed to start front row outside. The why didnt he start there.

I have no problem with Mr Passmore but sure seems they want him as champion.

I dont know who was scoting but it was a nightmare, caes running in top ten line up 14th and back. The spectators could have scored a better job than what was done.

I usually dont post on here but this was a crying shane the way that race was run. If I was still in racing I would never go to a OCRS show.

Just had to let off some steam after seeing a joke of running a race. Oh and Mark said he had no control of what was going on it was all OCRS.

If that's the reason Joe Jr. was put to the back, thats ridiculious. He was on the track before cars were even being pushed off.

And then the scoring during the yellow flags was the biggest joke I have seen in 25 years of dirt track racing. Under the second yellow, they go around 10 times trying to get the line-up right, and THEN decide to put the lapped cars back in which took another 20 laps. (i think putting the lapped cars back in is an un-justice to the fans, but that's another story, although they sure handed that one to Passmore on a silver platter) At the end, several cars ran out of fuel because of all the yellow flag laps, and as they started running out all around the track, several cars got ran over and tore up. OCRS, what a joke this was.

I would change your rule book and have lapped cars put in back. Most of the crowd doesn't even know how great of a race it was a guy driving from 20th to 2nd. And the announcer never said a word a about it . OCRA you really messed up ,your job is to inform the croud not ignore the situation. What could have been a fantastic night turned into a lot of the crowd leaving not wanting to see anymore of your races. Wow what a shame.

OCRS picked and chose what rules to really go by last night. For one they said in the drivers meeting DO NOT exit the track if you win a race you must go straight to the scales. Well Passmore did exit after winning the heat drove to the pits but fortunatlely they directed him back to the scales and no penalty. And safley not dq. Then make sure they follow rules about line up before white flag on the race before you. Rule is: If you are not lined up before white flag on race before you, you start at the back. IF that was the case, then only 4 cars would have started at the front. (regaurdless of board line up.) In addition, You can have a complete restart after 2 completed laps. Thats new. On another caution there should have only been about 4, not 8 lapped cars between Passmore and second. Jr did an amazing job on passing almost the enitire feild but one! Imagine what it could of been had been givin the right starting position. (2nd) On the annoncer, holy crap. He sat there and talked about Mr. Passmore but absolutly nothing about the other drivers! None. Doesnt matter who came in top 10 or even top 5! Maybe because no one paid attention to anybody else where they were or supposed to be the entire race. Either they need new people to keep score or invest in transponders.

Well, I was hoping to catch a few OCRS races, but after that call on the 71 car, believe I will pass.

I have read some of this and I think I know part of what went wrong. From my experience, my worst night of any season as an employee or official was always opening night. As a lineup person it is hard to recognize some of the carss that are or repainted for a new season. The scorers have the same problem. OCRShas a great scorer. She probablyCoul d have used help or more experienced help but who knows. plus, brill is a racey joint andcars get lapped quick. hard job on opening night and ev eryone involved could do better and will try to do so
