small australian team looking at possibly running a second car over summer in 4 or 5 shows including the classic in warrnambool that pays 40k to win
we need someone who isnt going to tear up gear but also has a chance to win it and is also willing to come over but doesnt have a drive already,
who would you suggest?

Keep in mind guys that these tracks are really short around 400m and in the past few years have seen the likes of Meyers, Schatz, Saldana, dollansky, Wolfe, darrah, sides, Larson come out. None of them have come away with the trophy recently so it's pretty tough competition.
Someone good on short tracks who knows how to set up their own car, or bring a crew cheif with them.
Good ideas so far, thanks guys

Unless you get a rookie out to race in Australia, the only way you are going to get top notch racer out is by having a soild motor & car program, then to get a top notch driver there you are going to have to pay for his flights (domestic & international flights) + wife or what ever family he chooses to bring,+ by the sounds of it a crewchief as well. then pay for all of his accomodation while he is there. Then a quality driver is going to want 50% of what ever prize money he wins. Its going to be a pretty expensive program for you in the end!

I would 2nd that on Lasoski. If you are looking for someone who is easy on equipment, gives you a great shot at winning every night, and knows how to set up the car, he is your guy.

Think Dale Blaney is a great choice. Easy on equipment and easy to be around.

Mark Dobmeier- races River Cities, Husets (both short tracks) & Knoxville each week. Rarely tears up his equipment and but will not back down either.

Is this really a guys name, I can't quit laughing at it when I read it. Is he related to Hansome Johnny Tube Steaks?

If you were around during Classic week this year your answer is pretty simple. Get Kyle Larson with Wayne Priddy (spelling?) as the crew chief, give the kid a motor and hang on.
