If your looking for something to do tommorow...we will be in Lincoln for the Power Drive race no 4 of the 6 race state championships.....if your wonder what Power Drive is....we developed it 16 years ago. They are full body race cars that high school kids have built and drive with full pit crews and a instructor we started with about 10 schools the first year and as of 2012 there are some 80 some high schools and colleges registered. These cars are powered by electric engines and have top speeds of 35 to 50 miles an hour.Tomorows Lincoln event is on a 1/4 mile high banked track at the University of Nebraska East campus at the Agricultural track .First heat will go off at 11 should have 2 full races of anywhere between 15 to 24 for cars per race. So if your looking for something interesting todo come out and check out what the future engineers an race car drivers are up to its quite impressive.Quite a few of the kids have went on to work in nascar and indy car industry after college. I will be the one running the race and doing the flaggin and the over all race director come by an say hi.....as always ..HUMPIN TO PLEASE!!!!!!!!
