What looked like would never happen, the USMTS USRA show at L A Raceway came off like it was planned and right before a light shower broke out in the area.
With a name like Stormy Scott the winner seemed just right for the evening, Stormy raced up through the pack to 2nd place but then had to catch a streaking Ryan Gustin before going on for the victory.
Mike Higley on a tear so far this year drove his Razor chassis to another win, he and second place runner Strong raced side by side for a great deal of the race. Higley finally won by a small margin.
Don't forget tonight the action moves to Valley Speedway in Grain Valley Mo. for the USMTS road warriors, I am sure lots of locals will be their to test their skills against the traveling dirt knights. Enjoy.
