come on sprintfanatic - it's going to be a high quality field and plenty of em - if the track conditions are good then the show will be great.
Maybe the dynamic is different in other areas, but a lot of the time you don't really know who and how many will be at any one event. Sure, you can garner an idea - but when a place is able to tell you they already have 30 registered and that number is likely to rise each day leading up to the event - thats pretty cool. They could well roll out there with 40+ cars - it's not like they are THAT much slower than 410's. I know some have their preferences - but the difference between 410's and 360's is less than it has ever been. Only time I've seen both is at Knoxville during the 360 Nationals. In the end I just enjoyed some high speed wheel to wheel sprint car racing. But I don't profess to speak for everyone or proclaim what people "should" like - only to say that personally - I don't care whether it's 410's, 360's, 305's, or 600cc mini sprints.........I just want it to be a good, racy track and a well ran show. In fact, the majority of good racing I have seen/followed/covered in the past two years has been in the mini sprint ranks between ASCS2 shows and Port City Raceway shows.
I hope you find a way to make both Eagle's WoO show and this weekend's ASCS Midwest event, or at least consider it. If not, I hope you enjoy your weekend anyhow.
@ Eagle Shack Pit Guy - thank you for putting this list up. Was able to lightly mention the pre-registered list in the ASCS Midwest preview. It's a great piece of information for everyone. I think you guys will have a great turnout, and probably live up to its' billing as well. Forecast here in Oklahoma has it pretty chilly friday night - and I'm sure the cool air is coming from your direction. But that's spring time racing. A hoodie and gloves should suffice.
We had an ASCS2 mini sprint weekend at Cowtown back in February - and what was a very mild winter in this region wasn't so on that weekend. Friday was cold enough, but saturday's high hardly made it above freezing. I know the wind chill values were in the teens about an hour after the race started. I've been to a lot of races in the past 12 years - that was definitely the coldest, and just bad luck, as a majority of the winter weekends leading up to our opener at Cowtown were fairly mild. windy for sure - but still much warmer than that weekend. Pretty sure most of the cold races I go to from here on will pale in comparison to that weekend. bring it on I say lol.
I hope everyone has a good time at what should be a fantastic weekend of sprint car racing.

EPSG, any insight on what they are prepping for Sat. night? It got some pretty good press from LJS. Could be a huge crowd. Weather looks flipping perfect for Saturday. No rain in sight and dry enough that they are running practice tonight it sounds like!
